Customer Service & Administration Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technologically proficient Customer Service & Administration Assistant to join our growing team. This role involves providing exceptional support to clients, managing enquiries, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with day-to-day administrative operations.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, confident using modern technology, and experienced with software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.). Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently are essential.

This is a paid position offering an excellent opportunity to further develop your customer service and administrative skills within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Assist customers with product information, order processing, and general support
Maintain accurate records through data entry and updating customer information systems
Use professional phone etiquette when handling inbound and outbound calls
Identify opportunities to upsell products or services where appropriate
Analyse customer feedback and communicate insights to relevant team members
Support the wider team with administrative and organisational tasks
Work confidently with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as Google Docs and Sheets
Assist with digital organisation, document management, and reporting tasks

Experience & Skills

Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Experience using Google Workspace applications such as Google Docs and Google Sheets
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Comfortable using modern technologies and learning new systems quickly
Experience in data entry and analysis is advantageous
Professional phone etiquette and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
