Overview

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team. In this role, you will lead engaging and effective Pilates classes using reformer equipment, inspiring clients to achieve their fitness goals while promoting proper technique and safety. Your expertise will help foster a motivating environment that encourages progress, confidence, and well-being for all participants. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love of movement and health with a vibrant community.

Duties

Lead Reformer Pilates classes with enthusiasm, ensuring participants are engaged and motivated throughout each session
Demonstrate correct form, technique, and modifications tailored to individual needs and fitness levels
Educate clients on anatomy, muscle engagement, and the benefits of Pilates to enhance their understanding and results
Monitor class safety by providing clear instructions and ensuring proper use of equipment
Offer personalised guidance and support to help clients progress safely and effectively in their practice
Maintain a clean, organised studio environment by sanitising equipment and preparing the space before each class
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and certifications to continually improve your teaching skills

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably with a focus on Pilates or similar fitness modalities
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and movement principles relevant to Pilates exercises
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct diverse groups of participants
Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly while providing modifications for different skill levels
Certification in Reformer Pilates instruction from a recognised organisation is highly preferred
Prior experience working with clients of varying ages, fitness levels, or health conditions is advantageous
