Office Administrator – Permanent

Wilton, Salisbury
£25,500 – £30,000 per annum depending on experience
Full Time – 40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible

We're looking that special person...

Cara Glass is one of the leading installers of windows, doors and conservatories in the Salisbury area. Due to the permanent relocation of one of our current team, we're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Office Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis.

Based in our Wilton office, you'll become part of a friendly and supportive team, helping customers, suppliers and colleagues while keeping the day-to-day administration of the business running smoothly.

This is a varied role working across both our domestic and commercial customers. You'll help look after our commercial customers and contracts, as well as working with estate agents and domestic customers to coordinate our small works, from initial enquiry through to completion.

You'll also work alongside our Group Managing Director, providing administrative support across Cara Glass and the wider group.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:

Providing outstanding customer service by telephone, email and in person.
Supporting the day-to-day administration of our commercial customers and contracts.
Working with estate agents and domestic customers to coordinate and manage our small works.
Managing appointments, electronic diaries and schedules for sales consultants, surveyors and installation teams.
Supporting customers with enquiries, bookings, payments and basic quotations.
Working alongside the Group Managing Director with administrative tasks across Cara Glass and the wider group.
Creating customer invoices and processing supplier invoices.
Maintaining accurate customer records, databases, electronic filing and documentation.
Supporting the wider team with general administration and organisational tasks.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is friendly, professional, organised and enjoys working with people.

You'll ideally have:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
Confidence dealing with domestic customers, commercial clients and other businesses, both face-to-face and remotely.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Intermediate Excel skills would be advantageous.
Experience using CRM software (AdminBase experience would be beneficial but not essential).
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A practical, common-sense approach to problem solving.
The confidence to use your own initiative, identify where processes could be improved and suggest or implement better ways of working.
Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude.
The ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Previous experience in administration, office support or customer service would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

We're particularly interested in someone who wants to become an established part of the team, take ownership of their areas of responsibility and develop within the role.

A good sense of humour is also essential!

Hours

Monday to Friday Hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, however flexible start and finish times may be available for the right candidate.
