A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR AT CROWNE PLAZA DOCKLANDS

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

Acts as the central administrative and coordination support for the Front Office department, liaising with Housekeeping, Reservations, Finance, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other departments to ensure Front Office requests, guest requirements and departmental priorities are communicated and completed efficiently.

Department Administration

Coordinate the day-to-day administrative functions of the Front Office department, ensuring all records, trackers and documentation are maintained accurately and within required timescales.
Support the Front Office leadership team with departmental reporting, correspondence, payroll administration, training records and document management.
Maintain organised filing systems, departmental records and operational documentation in accordance with company policies.

Purchasing & Purchase Orders

Raise and monitor departmental purchase orders, ensuring requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Liaise with suppliers and the Finance department regarding orders, invoices and outstanding deliveries.
Support the monitoring of departmental expenditure through accurate purchasing administration.

Stationery & Stock Control

Maintain appropriate stock levels of Front Office stationery, guest supplies, key wallets, registration cards and operational consumables.

Coordinate departmental stock ordering and conduct regular stock checks to ensure adequate supplies are available.
