Overview

We are seeking an adaptable and creative Adhoc Social Media Marketing Professional to support our organisation’s digital outreach efforts. This role offers flexible, project-based engagement, ideal for individuals with a passion for social media and public relations. The successful candidate will play a key part in enhancing our online presence through engaging content and strategic management of social media platforms. This paid position provides valuable experience in digital marketing within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with organisational goals
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media channels
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions to foster community engagement
Analyse social media metrics to assess campaign performance and inform future strategies
Assist with public relations initiatives to enhance organisational reputation online
Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency and optimise content delivery
Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in social media management and digital marketing

Skills

Proven experience in social media management across multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to digital content
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages
Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Creative thinker with an eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling
Ability to analyse data and adapt strategies based on insights gained from analytics tools
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently on ad hoc projects
