You'll be an inspiring leader who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, building our profile, strengthening our brand and helping us reach more women, partners, supporters and funders than ever before.

About the Role

As our Communications & Marketing Lead, you'll shape and deliver our communications and marketing strategy across both our Wirral and Chester centres, ensuring everything we do reflects our values, celebrates women's achievements and demonstrates the impact of our work.

You'll work closely with our CEO, leadership team, staff, volunteers and women accessing our services, creating authentic stories that inspire confidence, build partnerships and secure support.

This is a role for someone who enjoys both big-picture thinking and rolling up their sleeves to bring ideas to life.

What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Leadership

Develop and deliver Tomorrow's Women's communications and marketing strategy.
Build our brand and ensure consistent messaging across all communications.
Identify innovative ways to raise awareness of our services and influence conversations around women and trauma-informed support.
Lead campaigns that celebrate women's achievements and promote the impact of our work.
Monitor marketing performance and use insight to inform future campaigns.

Communications & Storytelling

Tell powerful stories that demonstrate the difference Tomorrow's Women makes.
Produce engaging content across digital and printed platforms.
Manage our website, ensuring content remains current, accessible and inspiring.
Oversee our social media presence, increasing engagement and reach.
Develop newsletters, annual reports, case studies and promotional materials.
Build positive relationships with local and national media.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead, support and develop the communications function.
Lead, support and develop other team members within comms.
Work collaboratively across all teams to capture stories, successes and opportunities.
Support colleagues to feel confident promoting their work and celebrating achievements.
Build relationships with partners, funders, commissioners and local organisations.

Marketing & Growth

Develop creative campaigns that increase awareness and engagement.
Support fundraising through compelling marketing materials and campaigns.
Identify opportunities to expand our audience and strengthen community connections.
Champion Tomorrow's Women at events, networking opportunities and public engagement activities.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience leading communications, marketing or brand activity.
Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media.
Experience managing websites and content management systems.
Knowledge of design platforms such as Canva and scheduling tools such as Buffer or similar.
Experience delivering successful campaigns and evaluating impact.
Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
Experience working collaboratively across teams.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Self-motivated, working on your own initiative

· Full UK manual driving licence is essential

Desirable

Experience working within the charity, voluntary or women's sector.
Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
Experience supporting fundraising communications.
Knowledge of media relations and public affairs.
Photography, videography or graphic design skills.

Principal Terms and Conditions

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Hours will normally be worked between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm. The role requires flexibility, including occasional evening/weekend work to support service delivery, organisational events and networking opportunities

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year plus Bank holidays rising annually by one day until limit of 28 days.

Successful applicants will be expected to provide a continual presence within the women’s centre supporting other colleagues, and this will be considered when agreeing annual leave request.

Notice Period: One month.

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
