Overview

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for retail excellence? We are seeking an energetic and motivated Retail Manager to oversee daily store operations, inspire teams, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. In this pivotal role, you will drive sales growth, manage staff performance, and ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong management skills, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a vibrant retail setting.

Duties

Oversee the daily operation of the store, coordinating activities across the grocery and dedicated butcher sections to maintain efficient service.
Lead the retail team, allocate responsibilities and assess staff performance to maintain operational standards.
Monitor inventory levels and replenishment, ensuring sufficient supplies of fresh and frozen foods, spices, confectionery and other products.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints, taking appropriate action to resolve concerns relating to products, purchases and service.
Review sales performance, introducing suitable pricing, offers and promotional activities to support revenue growth.
Assess product quality, freshness and presentation, particularly for meat and other perishable goods.
Maintain financial, stock and operational records and monitor cash-handling and store security procedures.

Skills

Proven management experience within a retail environment with a strong track record of supervising teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
Demonstrated expertise in sales management, merchandising, and inventory control.
