Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Self Employed Courier, where you will be the vital link connecting businesses and customers through reliable, timely deliveries. This role offers flexibility and independence, empowering you to manage your own schedule while ensuring packages reach their destinations efficiently. Your driving expertise and strong communication skills will shine as you navigate urban and suburban routes, providing exceptional service every step of the way.

Duties

Safely operate a LWB van, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Pick up, transport, and deliver packages to designated locations with precision and professionalism
Communicate clearly with clients and dispatch teams to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly
Manage your own route planning to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
Handle heavy lifting of parcels, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to maintain optimal performance
Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation for each shipment

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, demonstrating reliability and punctuality working within UPS/FEDEX
Valid UK driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving environments preferred
Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools is advantageous
