Accounts Assistant – Berry BMW Thames Ditton

Are you organised, detail-oriented and looking to build your career in finance? Berry BMW Thames Ditton is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful dealership where you'll play an important role in supporting our day-to-day finance operations while developing your skills within a well-established automotive business.

What you'll be doing

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll provide essential support to the finance team, helping to ensure our financial processes run smoothly and accurately.

Your responsibilities will include:

Processing purchase and sales invoices.
Reconciling bank and supplier accounts.
Assisting with daily cash posting and banking.
Supporting month-end procedures and reporting.
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
Liaising with colleagues, suppliers and customers to resolve account queries.
Providing general administrative support to the Accounts Department.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Numerate and accurate, with good analytical skills.
A confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
Proactive, reliable and eager to learn.
Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Previous accounts or finance administration experience is desirable, but not essential—full training will be provided for the right candidate.
