Full job description

Axelman Digital is seeking a creative, organised and highly motivated Videographer and Video Editor to join our growing marketing agency.

You will create professional video content for clients across industries including beauty, aesthetics, education, hospitality, healthcare and lifestyle. The role involves travelling to client locations, planning and directing shoots, capturing high-quality footage and editing content for social media and digital advertising.

We are looking for someone who understands how to produce content that does more than look good—it must capture attention, communicate a clear message and help our clients grow.

Key Responsibilities

Attend scheduled content shoots at client locations.
Plan each shoot around the client’s brand, audience and marketing objectives.
Work from creative briefs, scripts, shot lists and content plans.
Direct clients, presenters, models and team members confidently on camera.
Capture high-quality talking-head videos, promotional content, testimonials, product demonstrations and behind-the-scenes footage.
Film short-form vertical content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Meta advertising and YouTube Shorts.
Produce longer-form content where required, including interviews, brand videos and event coverage.
Edit raw footage into polished, engaging and conversion-focused videos.
Add appropriate music, sound design, transitions, captions, motion graphics and brand elements.
Create multiple edits and variations from each shoot to maximise the amount of usable content.
Format and export videos correctly for different social and advertising platforms.
Maintain consistent quality, colour grading, sound levels and branding across all content.
Organise, label, back up and manage video files securely.
Deliver completed content within agreed deadlines.
Respond professionally to internal and client feedback and complete reasonable revisions.
Maintain filming equipment and ensure batteries, memory cards, lighting and audio equipment are prepared before every shoot.
Work closely with Axelman Digital’s social media, paid advertising, strategy and account-management teams.
Contribute creative concepts, visual hooks and new content ideas during campaign planning.
Stay current with social-media trends, editing techniques and platform-specific content styles.
Represent Axelman Digital professionally when working at client premises.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in videography, content creation or video editing.
A strong portfolio demonstrating both filming and editing ability.
Confident using professional cameras, lighting and audio equipment.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent editing software.
Experience using After Effects or other motion-graphics software would be advantageous.
Good understanding of short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Meta advertising.
Strong visual storytelling skills and an understanding of attention-grabbing hooks.
Able to create premium, natural-looking content without relying on excessive effects or generic templates.
Confident directing people who may have limited experience appearing on camera.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly with audio, colour, framing and brand consistency.
Organised and able to manage several client projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions efficiently.
Reliable, punctual and professional when attending client shoots.
Able to work independently while collaborating positively with the wider agency team.
Photography skills would be advantageous.
Experience producing content for paid advertising would be highly desirable.
A driving licence and access to reliable transport would be beneficial due to travel between client locations.

Equipment

Applicants should be comfortable working with professional camera, lighting and sound equipment.
