Join the Team at Purple Granite

At Purple Granite, we've been designing, manufacturing and installing premium stone worktops since 2010. Working with homeowners, builders and kitchen retailers across the UK, we've built our reputation on quality, reliability and exceptional customer service.

We're looking for a proactive, organised and dependable Office & Operations Administrator to join our busy office team. This is a varied role where you'll provide support across every area of the business. No two days are the same, so you'll need to be someone who enjoys variety, works well under pressure and is happy to adapt to the needs of the business.

The Role

As part of our office team, you'll play an important role in keeping the business running smoothly. You'll support the management team with a wide range of administrative and operational duties while ensuring our internal systems and processes remain accurate and up to date.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing general administrative support across all departments.
Maintaining accurate records and updating company systems.
Carrying out operational audits and checking customer files to ensure work is accurate, complete and ready to progress.
Answering telephone calls, assisting customers and suppliers, and welcoming visitors to our showroom.
Supporting Health & Safety, HR and vehicle administration.
Ordering office supplies and helping maintain a professional office environment.
Assisting with scheduling, reporting and other operational administration as required.
Providing holiday and sickness cover for colleagues.
Supporting managers with projects and day-to-day business activities.
Undertaking any other reasonable office duties required to support the successful running of the business.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Can prioritise their workload and manage changing priorities.
Communicates confidently and professionally with customers and colleagues.
Is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced office.
Is proactive and enjoys finding solutions.
Is confident using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
Has previous administration experience (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
8:30am – 4:30pm
Full-time, permanent position
Office-based at our premises (remote or hybrid working is not available)
