Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Content Creator / Social Media Manager to join our team. This role involves developing engaging content across various platforms, managing our online presence, and fostering positive public relations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for visual aesthetics. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence brand perception and connect with diverse audiences through innovative digital content.

This role will initially be working in direct contact with the owner/ manager but could extend to remote following progression.

Duties

Develop and implement compelling content strategies tailored to different social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Create high-quality visual and written content such as videos, images, blogs, and infographics that align with brand identity.
Manage daily social media activities by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers to build community loyalty.
Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimise content performance and maximise audience reach.
Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Foster positive public relations by managing online reputation and addressing any customer or stakeholder queries promptly.
Collaborate on campaigns that promote brand awareness, product launches, or special events.
Stay informed about industry developments and emerging digital tools to keep our content fresh and innovative.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management and content creation within a professional setting.
Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English.
Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools is desirable.
Ability to work independently with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate original ideas that resonate with target audiences.
Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or native social media insights tools is advantageous.
A recognised qualification in marketing, communications, or related fields is preferred but not essential.
