Warehouse Operative

Granning UK Ltd is a market leader in the Commercial Vehicle O.E & Aftermarket Parts sector wholesaling premium Truck, Trailer, LCV & 4x4 parts through our approved parts distributor network across the UK & Europe.

We are experiencing significant sales growth in the UK Aftermarket Parts sector meaning a fantastic opportunity has arisen in our UK sales & distribution centre for an ambitious, self-motivated and proactive individual to join our vibrant warehouse team as :

Warehouse/FLT Operative.

This is a responsible position reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, your duties will include all aspects of warehouse operational procedures as listed but not limited to those below:

Responsibilities:

Process ‘Goods In’ including checking off stock & accurate ‘putaway’
Process Goods Out including dealing with customers, couriers & their in-house IT systems.
Loading and unloading vehicles with FLT & pallet trucks
Take part in daily & annual P.I stock takes as required
Assist with the preparation of the warehouse for the annual stock take
Adhere to & actively encourage the use of correct procedures daily within the warehouse environment including Health and Safety & the correct use of PPE
Always operate strictly to company procedures while continually increasing standards and maximising productivity in order to meet & exceed business KPIs
Other general warehouse duties as required including daily warehouse maintenance & security.
To provide support for the Warehouse Manager where required
Any other warehouse & operational duties as per business requirements

The Person:

Enthusiastic and passionate with a ‘can do’ attitude
A dedicated team player with excellent communication skills
An honest individual with a strong meticulous work ethic

Physically fit, well organised and very enthusiastic, the successful candidate will be IT literate with good knowledge of excel, have excellent attention to detail and will be able to work unsupervised using own initiative.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

40 Hours per week 8.30am to 5.30pm (some flexibility may be required based on business needs)

Salary - £26,493k per annum

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,493.00 per year
