Job Overview

We are seeking dynamic and personable Barbers to join our team across our sites in Moseley and Hall Green, Birmingham as professional hair stylists and barbers. In this energetic role, you will bring your passion for hair styling and barbering to help clients look and feel their best. Your excellent communication skills will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, providing top-tier customer service while delivering expert grooming services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills, grow your client base, and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to style, confidence, and self-expression.

Duties

Provide professional hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client's preferences and needs
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer expert advice on styles, cuts, and grooming options
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews
Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling, barbering techniques, and industry best practices
Communicate clearly with clients about their service options, appointment times, and aftercare instructions
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and operational flow

Experience

Proven experience in hair styling and barbering with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility and skill
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with diverse clients
Prior experience providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of current hair trends, styling techniques, and grooming products
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
Certification or licensing in barbering as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates
