Summary

The governors of this very successful Catholic High School wish to appoint a Finance Officer for 25 hours per week, term time plus 5 days, to join our Business Support Team.

The successful candidate will:

Work as part of the Business Support Team to address the needs of the school;
Be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained;
Have the skills to play a key role in the continued development of this key area;

ROLE
The main duties are:
to manage all aspects of the schools cashless dining income;
to process all orders and invoices;
to manage the day to day running of the schools non-public account;
to provide financial administration for the Schools Games Organiser;
to produce and update spreadsheets for a wide range of data;

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, energy, and the ability to contribute to the work of a successful team. The successful candidate needs to have excellent numeracy and communication skills and an eye for detail. They need to be pro-active and willing to go the extra mile.

Essential Qualifications

GCSEs or equivalent at Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English

Essential Experience

Has excellent numeracy skills
Communicates well with young people and others typical of one whom would expect in a school
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel with excellent keyboard skills
Able to use the Internet effectively and efficiently

Desirable Experience

Has knowledge of the use of SIMS / FMS
Has a basic knowledge of how schools are organised and managed
