The job in a nutshell:

To operate within the Warehouse Operations as an order picker/packer for the fulfilment part of the warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders within the Fulfilment department, ensuring goods are securely packaged using the appropriate materials for safe delivery (B2C).
Prepare all website orders for dispatch, including gift-wrapping products when required.
Process shipments through relevant courier and transport portals, ensuring orders are ready for daily collection.
Accurately label all parcels and place them in the designated dispatch area in line with carrier-specific requirements.
Identify and promptly report any order discrepancies, stock issues, or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
Assist with receiving deliveries, booking stock into the system, and putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations.
Support the resolution of customer delivery issues and investigate fulfilment-related queries when required.
Assist the Customer Service team by processing returned products efficiently and accurately upon receipt.
Participate in stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory-related activities to maintain stock accuracy.
Maintain a clean, safe, organised, and efficient warehouse and fulfilment environment at all times.
Ensure packing stations and fulfilment areas remain fully stocked with the consumables required for daily operations.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively; a forklift licence is desirable, although training will be provided where necessary.
Provide support across other areas of the business as required to meet operational demands.
Maintain confidentiality in relation to company, customer, and supplier information at all times.
Comply with all company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support the company's environmental and sustainability objectives by working responsibly and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management to support the effective operation of the business.

What you need to be successful:

Strong, consistent communication is crucial in this role, so excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure is vital.
You must be capable of working effectively both as part of a team and independently, demonstrating initiative when needed.
A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and consistently exceeding client expectations is fundamental to this position.
Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines is required.

Working hours: 40hrs a week Monday to Friday
