Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver with Hiab and ADR experience to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Experience with flatbed and commercial driving is highly desirable, alongside a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about driving and logistics to develop their careers within a reputable organisation.

Responsibilities

Safely operate flatbed and Hiab lorries and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring all safety checks are completed thoroughly.
Secure cargo properly to prevent movement or damage during transit.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays.
Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies throughout each journey.
Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Hiab driver , preferably with flatbed vehicles.
Strong knowledge of driving regulations within the UK, including tachograph rules and safety standards.
Experience in handling cargo securely on flatbed lorries or similar vehicles.
Previous experience in delivery roles is advantageous, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Valid driving licence suitable for operating heavy goods vehicles (HGV) or equivalent certification.
Familiarity with route planning software or GPS navigation tools is beneficial. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving skills and commitment to safety standards, offering an engaging career within the logistics sector.
