Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the safe handling, storage, and movement of goods, while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift truck.
Moving stock safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for despatch.
Receiving and checking incoming goods against delivery documentation.
Conducting stock control and inventory checks.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as required.

Skills and Experience

Previous warehouse experience is essential.
Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Truck Licence.
Experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse environment.
Good understanding of warehouse processes and stock management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills.
Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.

Qualifications

Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach).
GCSEs or equivalent (preferred but not essential).

Reliable and punctual.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
Committed to maintaining a safe working environment.

Full-time – Mon - Thurs 8.15am – 4.30pm Fri 8.15am – 3pm

This role is ideal for someone with warehouse experience who is confident operating forklift trucks and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.90 per hour
