Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious, high-quality dishes while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires a blend of creativity, culinary expertise, and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Previous supervisory or team management experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
