Job Summary

Join our team as a Laundry Assistant, where your energy and attention to detail will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our Residents. In this lively and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, ensuring linens, towels, and clothing are fresh, spotless, and ready for our Residents. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that Residents love and remember. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence.

Duties

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, residents laundry with precision and care
Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and manufacturer instructions
Monitor laundry loads to ensure proper cleaning cycles and prevent damage to fabrics
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and storage spaces
Restock supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents as needed
Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock is low
Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.

Experience

Previous experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens meet quality standards
Good organizational skills for managing multiple loads efficiently in a busy environment
Ability to follow safety procedures diligently when operating laundry equipment
Excellent teamwork skills to coordinate effectively.
