Full job description

Based in Devizes, Wiltshire, we are a Courier & Logistics business supporting National & Regional customers to service immediate sameday courier services and contract logistics.

We are on our growth journey and we are looking for a Logistics/Operations Manager to lead the operations and teams [10 employees] to support our retention and growth of new clients.

What you need is a character, great multi tasker, strong communicator and equally, a sense of fun in a busy but enjoyable office environment.

Logistics experience is preferred but not completely essential but we do require in the office working.

Overview

To Lead Service Delivery performance through operations in a Sameday courier / Logistics environment, client and courier bases to assist in achieving company goals in line with our rapid growth strategy.

Provide Leadership and management to ensure that the objectives and core values of the company are put into practice.

Ensuring service excellence culture throughout the business leading to improved client retention

Diligent implementation of new accounts across the business and being hands-on support across all areas of the start-up.

Commercial budgeting & due diligence to enable profit growth, administration process reduction and cost reduction.

Staff coaching, management, development and recruitment is tangible and measurable.

Overseeing daily operation ensuring that all departments are functioning smoothly & efficiently.

To manage the business compliance on all account to ensure operational improvements and customer satisfaction.

Performance monitoring, tracking KPI’s to measure success and identify areas of improvement.Management of efficiencies and productivity programmes Inventory

Management and keeping track of inventory levels and ordering supplies as required in operations.

Pay: £50,000.00 per year
