Make a Difference Every Day

Taunton
£25,305.76 per annum pro rata
Shifts between 7am–6pm, worked on a rota across 7 days
Free on-site parking

We have different hours available and are happy to discuss what works best for you. Bank work can also be considered.

At St Margaret’s Hospice Care, every role makes a difference.

We provide compassionate care to patients and families, and we’re looking for a Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our hospice.

About the role

This is more than a cleaning role — it’s about supporting patient care, dignity, and comfort.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness across clinical and non-clinical areas.

✅ Key responsibilities

Cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas to a high standard
Supporting infection prevention and control
Following cleaning schedules and responding to urgent requests
Working as part of a friendly and professional team
Helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment

What we’re looking for

Reliable, organised, and takes pride in their work
Caring, respectful, and professional approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible to meet service needs

Experience in cleaning, healthcare, or hospitality is welcome but not essential, as full training and induction will be provided.
