ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: FULL TIME TERM TIME ONLY (with two weeks to be worked during school holidays_

37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

Dollar Academy is an independent, coeducational school founded in 1818, with a roll of around 1300 pupils, of whom around 100 are boarders accommodated in one boys’ and two girls’ boarding houses. Academic standards are high and the school has a reputation for excellence in all fields. The Academy is situated in about 50 acres of grounds, amidst delightful scenery, in the small town of Dollar at the foot of the Ochil Hills, twelve miles east of Stirling, and provides a most attractive working environment.

Dollar Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our busy School Office team.

This is a varied role providing professional and efficient administrative support across the Academy. You will be a key point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

The role includes general office administration, maintaining school records and systems, supporting pupil and staff administration, assisting with educational and operational activities, and helping to coordinate Academy events and functions.

We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate and adaptable, with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be confident using IT, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experience in an education environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the wider Dollar Academy community and contribute to the effective running of a busy and welcoming school.
