Mechanic (Vehicle Technician), £32,000 to £38,000 basic | Clogher (Fannin's Garage)| Full time, Permanent

Kerr's Tyres started as one man's idea, to run tyre and auto centres properly, treat customers and colleagues right, and the rest follows. Norman Kerr had that idea over twenty years ago, and he's still leading the business today. What's new is the backing, fresh investment to take that same model and scale it across Ireland and the UK.

What you'll do

Diagnose and repair faults, fit new and manufactured parts, and carry out full inspections before handover to the customer
Keep accurate records of all work completed
Deliver excellent customer service, explaining work clearly and honestly, and spot genuine opportunities to help customers with work their vehicle actually needs
Work with your Centre Manager and team to hit daily targets

What you'll bring

Level 3 qualified or above
Solid diagnostics and fault-finding experience
Your own mechanics tool kit
A full current driving licence
Desirable: 2 or more years' mechanical experience, tyre fitting, balancing and repair, and wheel alignment experience

What you'll earn

Basic salary of £32,000 to £38,000 depending on your qualification level.

Plus a bonus, paid monthly in arrears: hit 100% of target and you earn £1,000 that month, hit 120% and that rises to £1,500, the same scheme at every level, against clear targets. We'll show you exactly how it's calculated, and back you with regular coaching so hitting it is realistic, not theoretical.

Where it can take you

From Mechanic, to Senior Technician, to Centre Manager. More sites means more roles opening up sooner, whether you want to move into leadership or stay on the tools and go further with them.

The extras

A guaranteed 46-hour contracted week, 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12.30pm on Saturdays, with no late evenings, no Saturday afternoons and no Sundays
A structured four-week onboarding programme, so you're welcomed, trained and set up to succeed from day one
28 days' annual leave, including bank holidays
An additional day's annual leave for every 2 years of service, up to a maximum of 3 days

Funded EV and hybrid vehicle training, fully paid while you train
