Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) – Full Time

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to work within a high-quality childcare setting that provides exceptional care and learning experiences for children from birth to 5 years. We also welcome applications from individuals who are not yet qualified but possess relevant transferable skills and a genuine passion for working with young children. We are committed to supporting professional development and encouraging career progression within the Early Years sector.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child's individual development and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Carry out observations, assessments, and evaluations for your key children, using these to plan engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Maintain children's learning journals and development records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Complete daily observations and provide meaningful feedback to parents about their child's day and progress.
Plan, prepare, and lead age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development.
Contribute to daily routines, including risk assessments, visual safety checks, and shared team responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and OFSTED standards.
Work flexibly across different rooms and age groups to support the needs of the nursery and maintain staffing ratios.
Demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude and contribute to maintaining the high standards of care and education throughout the setting.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Qualified to Level 3 in Early Years (preferred).
Passionate about supporting young children's learning and development.
Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic.
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Well organised with effective time-management skills.
Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
Committed to providing outstanding childcare and creating positive experiences for children and families.
