McCrae Training is looking for an Administrator to join our growing team.

Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Administrator, working across all areas within the Operations Admin / Business Support Department.

This is a key role within the business, requiring a highly reliable and proactive individual who will work closely with the Office Manager.

The role holder provides key daily support associated with planned and reactive activities within the office environment, from answering calls, processing mail (in/out) to accurately processing training programmes via digital platforms and paper-based systems and invigilating training courses. They will ensure all systems, records and processes meet awarding organisation and quality requirements. This is a varied and responsible role requiring excellent organisation, attention to detail and confidence working in a fast-paced training environment.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with colleagues to meet business targets and to develop excellent working relationships with staff across the business and within our Utility Sector Skills Academy. They will provide administrative and operational support, confidently managing day-to-day responsibilities in the Manager’s absence.

The Individual and Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring the efficient preparation, planning, processing and completion of all paperwork
Generate reports for Management and ensure accuracy
Support audit and compliance activity
Confident and Outgoing
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent timekeeping
Professional and courteous
Ability to complete allocated tasks in a timely and accurate basis
Ensure work is completed in accordance with client, company, and awarding organisation standards and specifications
Work independently and prioritise workload
Excellent IT skills and confident using Microsoft Office Applications and Sharepoint
Organised and systematic approach to completing tasks
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn and contribute to continual improvement operating within a SME environment

Experience:

Must have at least 4 years Administration experience
Experience of working within a Training or Education environment is advantageous

Desirable

· Full First Aid at Work qualification

· Fire Warden qualification

· Line-management or supervisory experience
