Job Title – Baker

Job role, key duties and responsibilities

Supporting the team: Developing, motivating, and supervising the baking team
Ensuring quality: Maintaining high standards for baked goods and customer service
Maintaining safety: Ensuring the bakery is clean and safe by following health regulations and food safety best practices
Managing stock: Ordering ingredients and maintaining stock levels
Managing time: Prioritizing tasks and meeting production deadlines
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Creativity and adaptability to changing demands

Passion for baking and delivering high-quality baked goods

Any other reasonable task to facilitate the smooth running of the bakery

Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.

We're a traditional, family-run bakery in Stafford, baking everything fresh on site each day – from bread and rolls to cakes and pastries.

This is a hands-on role in a working bakery environment. You'll be involved in the full process - mixing, baking, finishing, and helping to keep production running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who'll be a great fit for the team as much as someone with the right baking skills. We value a friendly, supportive working environment where everyone helps each other, and we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of that culture.

As our bakery continues to grow, we'd love to find someone who wants to grow with us – bringing ideas, developing their skills, and helping shape the future of the business.

Rate of Pay

From - £13.75 - £14.75 per hour
