Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. 18+ only. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills whilst working in a dynamic setting. Candidates should be organised, friendly, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels regularly
Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed
Provide friendly advice on drink selections and promote special offers
Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety at all times

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks smoothly
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Good communication skills to engage positively with customers and colleagues
