Full job description

We are looking for motivated and reliable Van Pack Operatives to support the delivery of essential drainage and wastewater services across a range of domestic and commercial contracts. This is a hands-on role working across several key accounts, offering strong opportunities for development within a growing and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out domestic drainage services using van pack equipment (high pressure water jetting units)
Completing Hedgehog Sewer operations, including installation, de-installation, and reporting
Undertaking non-flushables counts in line with client requirements
Supporting ECAS works, including investigation of drainage lines and defects
Attending reactive call-outs, including blockages, flooding, and emergency works
Working in confined spaces (Medium Risk) in line with safety procedures
Completing job reports accurately, including photographic evidence where required
Maintaining van stock, equipment, and ensuring vehicles are kept clean and operational
Delivering high standards of customer service when working at domestic properties

Pay Rates:

No experience: Rates starting from £14.30 Per Hour
Experienced Operatives: £15.85 Per Hour (Must have a minimum of 5 certificates / qualifications listed below).
Overtime available at weekends and bank holidays

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence with no more than six points
Ability to work independently from a home-based location
Willingness to work in confined spaces and outdoors in all weather conditions
Flexible approach to working hours to meet operational demands

Working Pattern & On-Call:

Monday to Friday role
Participation in an on-call rota (tri-weekly basis) is required
Flexibility to provide additional cover during peak periods to support service delivery

Vehicle & Equipment:

The successful candidate will be based from home
A Volkswagen Crafter van will be provided for business use only
All tools, equipment, and PPE will be supplied

Desirable Certificates/Qualifications:

High Pressure Water Jetting
Medium Risk Confined Space
CSCS Card
Streetworks (NRSWA)
EUSR Water Hygiene
SHEA Water
Emergency First Aid at Work
