Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cafe Manager to lead our new opening cafe call cafe Scran.

In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable experiences for every guest while managing all aspects of cafe management with energy and precision. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about hospitality,

Responsibilities

Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of baristas, cooks, and service staff to achieve operational goals
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across the kitchen and serving areas
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimize profitability
Train staff on food production techniques, serving procedures, and hospitality best practices
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that promotes teamwork, positive guest interactions, and high employee morale

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally within a cafe or similar environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and inspire excellence
Experience in food safety protocols, food production processes, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is preferred; barista experience is a plus
Previous roles involving kitchen experience or hospitality management will be highly valued
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and engage customers confidently

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
