Full job description

Project Development Manager

Cheltenham

Noriker Power is a leading renewable energy integrator and developer specialising in battery storage projects that support the UK and Ireland's power grids. We have built over 350MW of advanced battery and hybrid facilities, and with a pipeline of investment ready, large scale projects, we are shaping the future of a sustainable and renewable grid. We’re seeking motivated, enthusiastic individuals with a passion for sustainability and innovation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, possess a strong sense of responsibility, and be committed to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and manage a pipeline of development projects in GB & Ireland.
Manage the full origination lifecycle to Ready-to-Build status.
Responsible for delivering projects on budget and on time.
Identify and secure land parcels, grid connections and planning permissions for BESS & solar projects.
Identify and address issues across technical, commercial, and programme areas, also being instrumental in the developing resolutions.
Assisting in designing and implementing strong feedback loops into project design, safety processes, and monitoring and controls systems.
Sharing knowledge with the wider team to ensure best practice.
Ensure compliance with UK regulatory and HSE requirements.
Attend out of office meetings and site visits.

Requirements:

Degree qualified, ideally in a STEM subject.
3+ years of experience in renewable energy.
Strong knowledge of the project development process.
Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
A strong sense of personal responsibility and take pride in a job well done.
Self-motivated with a positive work ethic, exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
Must be able to commute to Cheltenham, as this role is fully office-based.
Eligible to work permanently in the UK.
