Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Front of House Shift Leader to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the front-of-house operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through excellent service, efficient team management, and smooth restaurant flow. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable moments for every guest while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about food, beverage, and team leadership to make a positive impact in a lively dining environment.

Duties

Supervise daily front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring timely service.
Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and host staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage food production, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety protocols.
Manage bar operations, including bartending duties, drink orders, and maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere.
Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure all guests leave satisfied.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout the shift.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality settings with supervisory or team management responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
Experience with bartending and serving in fast-paced environments.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations.
Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices, including hotel or barista experience is a plus.
