Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, along with a passion for providing outstanding customer care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a vibrant environment while ensuring guests feel welcome and satisfied throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
Serve meals and drinks promptly and courteously, maintaining high standards of presentation.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during service.
Assist in food preparation or organising tables as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required.
Manage guest queries efficiently, providing exceptional guest services throughout their stay.
Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area to uphold hygiene standards.
Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, including processing cash and card transactions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for motivated individuals.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine passion for guest services and creating positive dining experiences.
