Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for administrative tasks and strong organisational skills. The successful candidate will provide vital support to ensure the smooth operation of our office environment, handling various clerical duties and assisting with day-to-day administrative functions. Prior office experience and proficiency in computer skills are highly desirable, along with a professional approach to communication and data management. This paid position is ideal for someone eager to develop their administrative expertise within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
Assisting all departments with administration and day to day activities
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management
Booking transport, accommodation and parking as required
Handling basic bookkeeping duties and processing invoices or payments where necessary
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy, organised, and well-stocked with supplies

Requirements

Prior office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for all tasks
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Accuracy for data entry purposes
Professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Basic clerical experience demonstrating familiarity with office procedures and equipment
