Overview

** This job is open to students **
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our established team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The successful candidate will be integral to creating a welcoming atmosphere, assisting with food and beverage service, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Duties

Greet guests warmly including opening door and pulling chair out.
Take orders accurately using our EPOS system
Make drinks and take to table and run food as required
Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest queries and resolving issues promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Assist with pot washing if needed, and all other cleaning duties you'd expect in a small family operated business
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, particularly food safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth restaurant operations during service hours

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is essential. This is not a trainee position.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Experience in cocktail or barista work is advantageous
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer experiences
Flexibility to work shifts that may include weekends and evenings as required
Flexible approach to work - whether coming in early, staying later or leaving earlier

This position offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about hospitality, with opportunities to develop skills across various aspects of restaurant service.

Pay: Up to £12.85 per hour
