Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations to develop their skills in a professional environment. The Chef de Partie will play a vital part in maintaining our commitment to exceptional cuisine and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in meal preparation
Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service periods
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
Support junior staff by providing guidance and training on food preparation techniques
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and within specified timeframes

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
Previous experience working as part of a busy culinary team is preferred
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and organisation skills
Experience with serving or front-of-house duties is considered an advantage but not essential
