Receptionist

Lochgreen House Hotel

We are looking for a Receptionist to join the team at Lochgreen House Hotel in Troon. The role is the first point of contact for guests arriving at the hotel, so ensuring they receive a warm and welcoming experience is key. You will be responsible for checking guests in and out, using our booking system effectively, up-selling and answering guest queries both face to face and over the phone.

Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Lochgreen House Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel set within stunning grounds in Troon. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional guest experiences through our dedicated team and commitment to high standards. We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team and contribute to the continued success of the hotel.

What You'll Be Doing?

Greeting and assisting guests at reception, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Answering calls and responding to enquiries from prospective customers and guests, taking messages where required.
Managing the hotel booking system, including checking guests in and out and processing payments.
Assisting guests with requests and providing excellent customer service throughout their stay.
Working closely with other departments and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a seamless guest experience.
Maintaining a professional and organised reception area at all times.

What We're Looking For?

Previous customer service or reception experience would be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
Strong I.T. and organisational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
A positive attitude with a proactive approach to customer service.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
