Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Server to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food service, along with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in food preparation and customer interaction.

Duties

Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and beverages according to company standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner, maintaining excellent customer service at all times.
Take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and handle cash or card transactions responsibly.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and dining spaces to uphold health and safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, milk, cups, and other essentials to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing any questions or special requests professionally.
Follow food safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Experience

Previous experience as a barista or server is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to maintain high hygiene standards.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Experience in food preparation or serving can be advantageous but is not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Strong time management skills are essential to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
