Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Unqualified Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with diverse learning needs. As an Unqualified Teacher, you will support classroom activities, assist with individualized learning plans, and foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages growth and development. This paid position is ideal for those eager to gain hands-on experience in education while contributing to a nurturing learning community.

Duties

Assist qualified teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to students’ unique needs, including those with disabilities and autism
Support students during classroom activities, ensuring they stay focused and motivated
Implement creative writing exercises and tutoring sessions to enhance literacy skills
Foster a supportive environment through mentoring and positive communication with students
Help develop and adapt teaching materials to meet individual learning goals
Collaborate with staff to monitor student progress and provide feedback for ongoing improvement
Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom atmosphere that promotes inclusion and respect for all learners

Requirements

Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with children and individuals with disabilities
Experience working with children or individuals with special needs, including autism, is highly desirable
Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus
Creative writing skills to support literacy development initiatives
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Enthusiasm for mentoring, tutoring, and supporting diverse learners
Prior experience in education or related fields is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
