Up to 37 hours per week - day and hours can be discussed and agreed

Pay is negotiable and dependent upon experience

Initially a fixed term contract to cover 9-12 months maternity leave, however, there is a significant chance that there my be opportunity for ongoing employment going forward.

This role attracts the usual NHS pension and is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

About the Role:

This is an interesting and varied role in general practice providing a high standard of nursing care for patients as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by an experienced band 6 qualified nurse in General Practice.

Essential:

NMC registered

Current or recent nursing experience in general practice

Independent clinical decision making skills and experience

Cervical Cytology qualification

Child & Adult Immunisation experience

Chronic Disease management

Desirable:

FeNO training

Respiratory diploma or equivalent qualification

Experience managing asthma and/or COPD patients

Travel health qualification

SystmOne experience

And lastly:
