Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent customer service, and a solid background in restaurant or hospitality settings. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure high standards of service, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate front of house staff, including serving, hosting, and bar personnel
Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary to support kitchen staff
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
Support team management by training new staff and providing ongoing coaching
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail in food presentation and service standards
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and handling
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary activities is advantageous
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving, hospitality, and barista duties
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
Previous hotel or bar experience is desirable but not essential

This role requires a proactive individual committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. We welcome applicants who are passionate about hospitality and eager to lead by example.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
