Full job description

We have a permanent full time Site Manager role available, located in Scunthorpe. This is a 40 hour per week role - mainly Monday to Friday, however we stipulate five days out of seven worked per week, as you will be require to be flexible, as your role will aslo include managing weekend and night shift staff as well as day shift.

Responsible for:

Managing a large team of cleaning operatives and recycling operatives in a logistics setting
Maintain customer focus and ensure the team achieve agreed high standards of service at all times
Ensure the hours are consistently delivered and any absences are managed without disruption to service delivery
Train and develop the team to ensure that they have the skills and attitudes to achieve agreed standards of service
Deliver value and excellent communication to our site based clients, delivering the agreed standards and KPIs within the agreed contract costs
Promote a safety culture across the site, by managing, training, communicatating, maintaining, and reviewing risk assessments
Ensure data is used effectively to deliver consistent and timely management interventions
Responsible for managing onsite team recruitment and providing full induction and training to new site colleagues

Skills

Effective people management skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to train and develop others
Ability to deliver outstanding customer service through the effective customer engagement
Excellent time management, organisation and planning skills to ensure effective timely delivery of a business objectives
Strong ability to communicate with business users and management of all levels in the delivery of reporting requirements.

Experience

Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
Previous experience in managing a team
Experience in building relationships and effective stakeholder engagement
High personal and professional standards of behaviour
Capable of demonstrating delivery of objectives and performance measures
