Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint & Body Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert painting and bodywork techniques. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to high-quality vehicle repairs and refinishing. The position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal finish quality.
Apply paint, lacquer, or other finishes using spray guns and hand tools, ensuring colour matching and smooth application.
Repair or replace damaged panels, dents, and scratches using appropriate bodywork techniques.
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed.
Conduct quality checks on finished work to meet company standards and customer expectations.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience in vehicle painting and body repair or relevant technical training.
Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive systems and components.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, grinders, and paint sprayers.
Experience with power tools used in bodywork repairs.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes.
Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Physical fitness suitable for prolonged standing, bending, and lifting tasks throughout the workday.

Pay: £100.00 per day
