About The Role

We are recruiting Support Workers in Carmarthen to support people to live in and be part of the local community, within a supported living environment. Our services are about helping people to get out in the community and make the most of their time in their own homes.

Whilst fully embracing the company ethos support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.

Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Job title: Support Worker

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Carmarthen

The role

Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans
Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way
General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care
As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents
Each person we support has 1 to 1 support
Lone working and team-working
The successful applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence

About you

Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their dignity?
Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex care is preferred but all training will be provided
