Transport Administrator

Cookstown Textile Recyclers (CTR) is a leading textile recycling company committed to sustainability and the responsible global movement of recycled textiles and reusable clothing. We work with businesses and charities to give textiles a second life while reducing waste and environmental impact. Our export operations serve customers across West and East Africa, Pakistan, India, UAE, and Europe. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Transport Administrator to join our team and develop a career

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, organised, and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our growing team in Randalstown. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Transport Administration and Logistics.

The successful candidate will receive full support and training, with clear progression opportunities as their skills, knowledge, and experience grow within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Incident and accident reporting
Maintaining driver training and health & safety records
Liaising with insurers regarding vehicle and driver cover
Managing waste management documentation and permits
Fleet tracking and fuel card administration
Driver onboarding and licence checks
Maintaining the company's Operator's Licence compliance
Producing and maintaining accurate reports
Coordinating textile bank logistics

Essential Criteria

Previous experience working within a transport or logistics administrative role
Must have written and verbal communication skills in English language
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Due to the responsibilities of the role, flexibility will be required
Valid UK Drivers Licence

Desirable Criteria

Confident working with IT software and system programmes
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload effectively and accurately
