Full job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Jet wash operative for a brand new position our clients site in DHL Bury Point.

The key purpose of the role is to jet wash the trucks and trailers for our recycling unit. You will work to KPI's and have experience in using a jet wash before. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own and as part of a team while using initiative to deliver great service.

You will need to have a maximum of 3 points on your licence and hold a full UK driving licence. You will be confident and experienced in driving 3.5 tonne vehicles.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1200-2030

The key responsibilities of the role are:

Carry out daily and weekly tasks as required
Operate jet washing equipment
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site specific clothing as directed
Report any product or machinery faults
Be aware of environmental responsibilities and procedures.
Report all environmental issues as soon as possible
Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors and visitors to the site
To be responsible for leaving the recycling area clean and tidy at the end of each shift
