Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Control Room Operative to oversee and monitor our camera system within our recycling facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for watching several monitors maintaining a secure environment through surveillance

Duties

Monitor surveillance cameras watching recycled products through the plant
Maintain accurate records of down time and observations.
Respond promptly to blockages using walki talkies to staff in the plant.
Using a SCADA system full training given.
Ensure the control room environment remains organised, clean, and secure at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in surveillance or security operations is preferred.
Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
Excellent observational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergencies.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
This role is vital in maintaining the safety and smooth running of our recycling facility , and we welcome candidates who are committed to upholding high standards of vigilance and professionalism.
