Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable self-employed courier/driver to join our dynamic delivery team. This role is perfect for individuals who possess a passion for driving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle logistics efficiently. As a key part of our delivery network, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods using a Long Wheel Base (LWB) van. This opportunity offers flexibility and independence while contributing to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Long Wheel Base (LWB) van to deliver parcels and goods across designated routes
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding delivery times and any issues encountered
Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and proof of delivery records
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
Follow all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with commercial driving background
Valid driver’s license suitable for operating an LWB van; driver certification is advantageous
Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is beneficial for understanding inventory handling
Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, demonstrating physical strength and stamina
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools
Prior experience in driving or courier roles that require punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail
