Marketing Assistant

£26,500 - £29,000

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Hybrid Working

Devon/Cornwall Based

Fantastic opportunity to join a growing family business with a hybrid working role!

Coast and Country Parks is an award-winning, family-run business, offering scenic holiday parks across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall . We’re expanding our marketing team and are looking for an organised and proactive Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager in the day-to-day running of marketing operations.

This is a diverse role combining digital marketing, content creation, campaign coordination, and administrative support. It’s ideal for someone creative, organised, self-motivated, and genuinely passionate about tourism, travel, and the great outdoors!

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

Email Marketing & CRM

Create and schedule campaigns and newsletters via Mailchimp
Develop automated customer journeys and manage segmented mailing lists (GDPR compliant)
Monitor email marketing performance and support ongoing improvements
Create and distribute customer surveys; summarise feedback for marketing decisions

Website, App & CMS Management

Update and maintain website, app, and CMS content
Manage and update listings across our website, Marketplace, and Rightmove
Optimise copywriting for SEO, ensuring consistent tone and messaging
Proactively refresh blogs, event pages, and seasonal content
Assist with booking system and CMS familiarity

Graphic Design & Administrative Support

Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and reflects current offers/availability
Organise & build on existing marketing assets and templates
Provide ad hoc support for social media and admin tasks as needed.
Assist with graphic design across branded materials (posters, signage, etc.)

Content Creation & Campaign Ideas

Assist the Marketing Manager with photography and content creation
Support planning and delivery of seasonal campaigns, socials and promotions
Stay on top of social media trends and suggest ideas to keep content fresh and relevant
Assist with creating engaging content across multiple platforms, including YouTube, TikTok reels and short-form content.

Ideal Candidate:

Organised, detail-focused, and self-motivated
A strong communicator with excellent written English
Comfortable working across a variety of digital tools and platforms.
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Genuinely interested in tourism, travel, and the great outdoors
Creative and Collaborative

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a marketing, administrative, or communications role
Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms
Experience using website CMS systems; basic SEO knowledge desirable
Social media savvy.
Confident with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Knowledge of the Cornwall and Devon regions is a bonus
