YOUR ROLE

As a Warehouse Operative at our site in Barton under Needwood you will be part of a successful team who are committed to supporting a high-profile customer. This is a critical role within the operation and directly contributes towards the efficiency and effectiveness of the team and operation.

The night shift position is 22:00 to 6:00 Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is up to £34,836.72 per annum - depending on performance/attendance and manual handling equipment usage.

What you can expect from the role:
Temperature-controlled warehouse – comfortable working environment all year round.
Clean, tidy and well-organised operation with high standards and pride in the workplace.
Minimal manual lifting – the role is designed around safe handling practices and sensible lifting limits.
Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) available – MHE use is not required in all areas, and full training and support will be provided where needed.
Inclusive team culture – approximately 40% of our workforce is female, reflecting our commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
No previous warehouse experience required – we hire for attitude and reliability and provide the training to help you succeed.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Unload vehicles and receipt and put away items
Pick orders, produce dispatch and carrier paperwork, and ensure this is logged onto the system where necessary
Load vehicles in accordance with delivery manifests
Liaise with Team Leaders to ensure work is allocated correctly
Maintain stock accuracy

There is no need for previous warehouse experience. Our ideal candidate will be:

A great team player but also able to work independently where required
Confident in communicating with colleagues and team leaders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines and targets
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and maintaining high standards
